Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed in Highland, MI – ProCare Therapy
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Highland, Michigan for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, with potential for immediate starts in the current school year. About the Role:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist with ProCare Therapy, you’ll be an essential part of the educational team, helping students overcome communication challenges to succeed academically and socially. You will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, while collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Responsibilities May Include:
• Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Developing and implementing IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.
• Providing direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
• Documenting therapy sessions, maintaining records, and tracking student outcomes.
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Providing consultation and training to staff regarding communication strategies.
Position Details (May Vary by Specific Assignment):
• Type: Full-time, Contract
• Term: Various contracts available, including 2025-2026 school year and potential immediate starts
• Grades: Opportunities may be available across PreK through 12th grade
• Hours: Typically full-time, school-year schedule (e.g., 32–37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday)
• Caseload: Varies by assignment; details provided during interview
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active SLP license (or ability to obtain)
• ASHA CCCs preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for supporting diverse student populations
