A full-time or part-time Speech-Language professional opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Martinsburg, WV. This contract position spans the full school year and offers a structured schedule within an elementary school building.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 43 students.
- Deliver services on-site; virtual therapy is not an option for this position.
- Collaborate closely with educational staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Adhere to school policies and schedules, working Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification is also considered.
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, supporting K-12 populations.
- Ability to manage a moderately sized caseload effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to on-site service delivery and adherence to the specified schedule.
Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
This role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time employment (minimum of 2 to 3 days per week) to accommodate varying availability while ensuring consistent on-site support.
