Caseload: Approximately 30 children
Age Range: 3 to 6 years old
Location: Virtual (on-site considered for the right candidate)
Employment Term: Ongoing, Year-Round
Position Summary:
We are actively seeking a qualified Healthcare Communication Disorders Specialist to join our team in a full-time capacity. This position focuses on early childhood intervention, supporting the speech, language, and communication development of approximately 30 students between the ages of 3 and 6. The role is currently conducted virtually, though we are open to considering in-person support if preferred.
This is a year-round position with no fixed end date, ideal for professionals who value continuity of care, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a school-based setting.
Core Responsibilities:
In this role, the specialist will:

Deliver Targeted Intervention: Provide individualized and group communication therapy aligned with each child’s developmental and educational needs.

Conduct Evaluations: Complete comprehensive assessments and use findings to inform the development of personalized support plans.

Monitor Development: Track and document progress on communication goals and adjust interventions to support continued growth.

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with educators, families, and school support staff to ensure an integrated approach to each child’s development.

Participate in Educational Planning: Attend and contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and support ongoing goal setting.

Flexible Service Delivery: Provide therapy virtually with the potential option for on-site services.
Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.

Licensure: Active licensure to practice as a Communication Disorders Specialist (SLP credentials accepted).

Preferred Experience: Pediatric or school-based experience with children ages 3–6.

Technical Readiness: Ability to conduct virtual therapy sessions using secure, school-approved platforms.

Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.

Adaptability: Willingness to provide services remotely or on-site based on student needs and candidate availability.
