Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team immediately. This is a full-time opportunity to provide crucial speech and language services to young children in a school setting. The role supports a caseload of approximately 30 children aged 3 to 6, and while the position is currently virtual, there is flexibility to transition to on-site services for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist in this position, your duties will include:

Providing Direct Therapy Services: Offer both individual and group therapy sessions based on the individual needs of students, with a focus on speech, language, and social communication.

Conducting Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students’ speech and language abilities, developing tailored therapy plans and goals to address their needs.

Tracking and Documenting Progress: Monitor students’ progress throughout therapy and adjust goals and strategies to ensure continuous improvement.

Collaborating with Other Professionals: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure a unified approach to meeting students’ needs.

Engaging in IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings to share insights and contribute to the development of individualized educational plans.

Virtual or On-Site Services: The role is currently virtual, but we are open to candidates interested in on-site work as well.
Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Licensure: Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state.

Experience: Prior experience working with young children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.

Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to engage children and collaborate with families and educational teams.

Technology Proficiency: Comfort and ability to deliver services virtually using telepractice tools, if applicable.

Flexibility: Willingness to work virtually or on-site, depending on your preference and availability.
