Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist in Douglasville, GA

Step into an impactful contract opportunity where you’ll support students as a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist (CFY-SLP) within a dedicated school community. This position, located near Douglasville, GA, requires an on-site presence and focuses on serving middle and high school students across one assigned school site. With a caseload expected between 45-55 students, you’ll contribute to a supportive educational environment while advancing your professional growth through hands-on experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with current eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Must possess or be eligible for a GA PSC certification (now newly required)
- Hold an active professional license and credential through ASHA
- Obtain and maintain valid state licensure for Georgia
- Required documentation: up-to-date fingerprints and drug screening
- Experience working with school-aged populations, especially secondary students, is highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of middle and high school students
- Complete assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to deliver comprehensive support services
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Engage in ongoing professional development as required by state and professional standards
This contract role begins July 27, 2026, and extends through May 28, 2027, operating full-time for the duration of the school year. As part of the prescreen process, candidates will be asked to select time slots for brief virtual interviews between 9-11am or 2-3pm EST, with some flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
