Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow - Acworth, Georgia

Step into a rewarding school-based role making an impact on students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) at a middle and high school level. Working full-time on-site for the 2026–2027 school year near Acworth, GA, this contract position allows you to refine your skills while contributing to the growth and success of a diverse caseload of 45–55 students. You’ll join a collaborative, supportive school community, with your expertise valued every day.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited SLP program, eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Active Georgia PSC certification (new requirement), professional license, and eligibility for state credentials
- Current/active ASHA credential required
- Capable of securing fingerprints and clearing a drug screening prior to start date
- Commitment to full-time, on-site work throughout the school year (remote/VOCO options not available)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Willingness to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- This opening is exclusively for SLP-CFYs; SLPAs are not being considered
Duties:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based speech and language interventions for middle and high school students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Coordinate with educational staff, parents, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive student support
- Serve as a resource for communication strategies and student advocacy
