A full-time opportunity is available for a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support elementary school students in the Laurens, SC area. This contract role focuses on providing specialized speech and language therapy services to young learners, helping them improve communication skills crucial for academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary school students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students’ communication goals.
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly.
  • Provide guidance and resources for classroom interventions and accommodations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state license for Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders common in early childhood.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff and families.
