Position Overview
We are actively seeking an experienced SLP-CCC to step into a well-established, school-based role providing maternity leave coverage. This is a structured, predictable assignment with strong district support and a clearly defined schedule across two sites.
The clinician will support early childhood and elementary students, collaborating with on-site teams and delivering services in both pull-out and push-in models.
Caseload & Service Model
Elementary School (3 days/week – Mon/Wed/Fri)

Approximately 36 students

Pre-K and Kindergarten–First Grade

Combination of direct therapy and IEP-related responsibilities
Early Learning Center (2 days/week – Tues/Thurs)

Approximately 24 Pre-K students

10 classrooms

Push-in service model
Caseload is established, and services are ongoing—this is a true “step in and support” role rather than a build-from-scratch position.
Responsibilities

Provide direct speech-language therapy services

Support IEP implementation and documentation

Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators

Maintain compliance with state and district requirements

Participate in team meetings as needed during scheduled hours
Credential Requirements

Active Rhode Island SLP-CCC License
-
Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) Certification

Must be eligible to work onsite in a school setting
