A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Center, ND, serving a K-12 school district. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid North Dakota license in Speech Language Pathology (interviewing before licensure is possible)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Preferred minimum of two years of school-based experience; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
Position Details:
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload of 40-50 K-12 students
- Contract duration: remainder of the current school year
- Collaborative role involving work with students, teachers, special education staff, and parents
- Indirect service time included in full-time hours
Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges
- Provide therapy targeting articulation, fluency, language development, and related communication skills
- Partner with educational staff and families through video conferencing to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and goal setting
