Step into a dynamic educational setting working full-time as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the greater Cedar Hill area for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity offers four onsite roles supporting either elementary or high school students, giving you flexibility in age group preference.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and adapt to diverse student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, direct therapy, and consultative speech-language services to a diverse student caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district, state, and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to address speech and language challenges
- Provide support for both academic and social communication skills
This is a full-time onsite position—40 hours weekly—starting August 12, 2026, and running through May 26, 2027. Both elementary and high school assignments are available, with four positions open for skilled professionals ready to make a difference.
