School-Based Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP)
Speech and Language Pathologist Position:
We are seeking a qualified SLP to work with a school district in the Castroville, CA area. The school would like to hire a speech and language pathologists to assist the children in the district in overcoming the difficulties associated with speech impairment for the current 2026-2027 school year. The therapist will be working with preK-12th grade students.
Job responsibilities:
Determine if students are eligible for services in the areas of articulation/phonology, abnormal voice, fluency, and language.
Review IEPs at least annually and conduct initial and re-evaluations.
Schedule and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions.
Meet and confer with teachers and parents about methods and techniques for dealing with special problems and adjustments to education programs for communicative difficulties.
Qualified candidates will have a California State license, teaching certification and the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. Some supervision may be required.

Compensation for this position ranges from $45.53 to $72.53. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
