Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing qualified and experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position within school districts in the Castle Rock, CO area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals committed to helping students succeed through quality speech and language services.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to students with speech and language needs, supporting their communication abilities in academic and social settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders using appropriate assessment tools.

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.

  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.

  • Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with district and state reporting requirements.

  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and team planning sessions.

  • Stay current on best practices, legal requirements, and innovative therapy techniques.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements for Colorado:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

  • Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider License with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered with supervision available.

  • Valid Colorado state SLP license through the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).

  • Successful background check and fingerprint clearance.

  • Familiarity with IDEA and special education procedures in school settings.

  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus.
