Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time school-based position with districts in the Castle Rock, Colorado area. We are seeking professionals who are passionate about helping students develop communication skills and thrive in academic settings.

Position Details:

  • Location: Castle Rock, CO and surrounding school districts

  • Schedule: Full-time (aligned with the academic calendar)

  • Contract: School year contract with potential renewal based on performance

Qualifications – State and Local Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following Colorado requirements to be eligible:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Valid Colorado State License issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)

  • Active Special Services Provider (SSP) License from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates may be considered

  • Experience in a K–12 school setting is highly desirable

  • Must pass all required background checks and district onboarding processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings

  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, parents, and other professionals

  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and progress reviews

  • Maintain detailed records and documentation to ensure compliance with district and state requirements
