Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Carthage, New York

A K-12 school district in the Watertown, NY area is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a Contract position through the end of the current school year, with the opportunity to extend through 5/15/26. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language impairments
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with New York State regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
Qualifications:
- Current New York State SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings is essential, with pediatrics and healthcare background beneficial
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) acceptable for consideration
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
