Speech Therapist in Carrollton, GA
If you’re passionate about supporting young students’ communication and language development, this engaging Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is tailored for you! This role focuses on serving K-5th graders in a dynamic school environment. You’ll work closely with a manageable caseload of 70-75 students, collaborating with educators and families to empower children to reach their fullest potential. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Experience within a school setting (elementary level preferred)
- Strong assessment, individualized treatment planning, and progress monitoring skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to K-5 students in both group and one-on-one settings
- Complete evaluations and create personalized therapy plans
- Track and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and IEP development
- Consult with teachers and parents to support student learning in the classroom and at home
- Maintain accurate and timely records and reports
