School Speech Pathology | Carmel, Indiana
An opportunity is available for two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists to support elementary school students with speech and language needs. These contract positions are based in Carmel, IN, and will span the current school year (CSY), starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year (EOSY).
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and providing individualized speech and language therapy to elementary students. Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop effective communication strategies and interventions is essential. Maintaining detailed records on student progress and complying with school policies regarding student services are also part of the role.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or completed
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Strong ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
