A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for a maternity leave contract assignment in Indiana, focusing exclusively on PreK evaluations within a single K-12 school building. This role requires expertise in early childhood assessment and the ability to manage a steady weekly evaluation caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for PreK students.
- Complete approximately 8 evaluations and follow-up conferences weekly.
- Develop detailed reports with recommendations tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate effectively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in meetings and conferences to present and discuss evaluation results.
- Maintain thorough documentation consistent with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Experience with preschool speech and language assessments preferred.
- Strong skills in communication, organization, and teamwork.
