Pediatric SLP in Carmel, IN

A full-time itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized services for elementary students across two school buildings in Carmel, Indiana. This contract role begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year. The role involves working closely with students in grades K-6, delivering direct therapy and supporting individualized education programs in a dynamic school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to elementary students (K-6) across two buildings located approximately 3.5 miles apart.
- Manage a caseload of 51 students: 23 students in grades K-4 (scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) and 28 students in grades 5-6 (scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday).
- Conduct IEP development and updates, write reports, complete evaluations, and participate in necessary meetings.
- Handle Medicaid billing responsibilities.
- Deliver services either onsite or virtually as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Experience or familiarity with working in school-based settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills for IEP documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Flexibility to travel between two school sites.
