Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Experience working in school settings is highly valued, though not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with educators, students, and families
- Comfortable leveraging technology for remote or hybrid therapy, if applicable
- Ability to tailor services to diverse student needs and varying caseloads
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and implementation is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties
- Contribute to the development and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educational staff and parents to ensure each student’s needs are met and progress is monitored
- Maintain up-to-date records and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
- Serve as a resource for school teams, providing training or consultation as needed to support students’ communication goals
