Work locations include Adams County (New Oxford), York County (York Learning Center), and Franklin County (Chambersburg). The role involves a caseload of up to 55 students by the end of the year, providing speech-language therapy to children ages 3 to 5 across various environments such as preschool special education classrooms, Head Start programs, PreK Counts classes, daycares, community preschools, and walk-in therapy sessions. The position follows a 188-day preschool stretch calendar with approximately 35 hours per week, including travel time between buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to preschool-aged students with special needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and complete related paperwork approximately half a day per week
- Coordinate and collaborate with educators, families, and community programs
- Provide services in multiple locations within the assigned county
- Supervise clinical fellowship candidates as applicable (agency supervision provided)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience in early intervention and preschool special education
- Pennsylvania certification as an SLP required
- Ability to travel to multiple sites within the designated counties
- Clinical Fellowship Candidates (CFs) are welcome with agency-provided supervision
