School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Absecon, New Jersey
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Absecon, NJ. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about enhancing communication skills and fostering academic success in children and adolescents.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students across grades K-12
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student assessments
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably K-12
- Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to working within a school-based environment
Location: Absecon, NJ
Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY)
