Travel School-Based SLP | Canyon Country, California
Currently seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary-aged students in the Santa Clarita, CA area through a travel assignment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a school setting, delivering direct and indirect speech therapy services to children from kindergarten through 6th grade.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Providing both direct therapy sessions and indirect consultation for students with communication needs
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathologist License or California Clear Teaching Credential (CTC)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in school settings
- Capability to handle a range of student needs, including those requiring individualized therapy plans
- Strong knowledge of typical SLP duties such as assessments, IEPs, and therapy techniques
