Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Canton, Mississippi
A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade within a school setting. This role focuses on supporting children with varied mild to moderate general and special education needs through comprehensive speech-language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
 - Provide direct therapy services tailored to individual student goals
 - Collaborate with educational staff and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
 - Document and report student progress in compliance with state regulations
 - Support a caseload encompassing diverse speech and language disorders in a school environment
 
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
 - Licensed in speech-language pathology for the state of Mississippi
 - Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings
 - Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery is a plus
 - Ability to manage a full caseload and complete detailed documentation
 - Excellent communication skills suitable for collaboration with school teams and families
 
Location: This position is based in Canton, Mississippi, with service areas including nearby cities such as Jackson, Rolling Fork, and Vicksburg.
Schedule:
- Full-time contract opportunity, approximately 37.5 hours per week
