Openings are available for several SLPs, including multiple elementary caseloads and a position within a functional classroom for students requiring intensive support. Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Eligibility for Michigan SLP licensure
- Demonstrated experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong commitment to student development and individualized support
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide ongoing speech-language therapy for students as outlined in their IEPs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
- Consult with classroom teachers and educational staff to support integration of therapy goals
- Engage in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and collaboration with other professionals
- Manage caseload responsibilities, which may include serving students across multiple buildings or within a functional intensive support classroom
