Travel School-Based SLP | Canton, Georgia
This full-time speech-language pathologist position offers an opportunity to provide maternity leave coverage within an elementary school setting in the northern Atlanta area. The assignment involves working onsite at one of two locations serving elementary-aged students, with a caseload focused on school-based speech therapy support. This role requires availability from as soon as possible through the end of the current school year, adhering to a Monday through Friday schedule at 37.5 hours per week. Part-time candidates and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will not be considered.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Department of Education Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Georgia SLP license
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school environment
- Eligible to commit through the end of the school year (ending 5/22/26)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to elementary students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to student services
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning
Location:
- Northern Atlanta area, with assignments in either Acworth or Woodstock, Georgia
