A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for maternity leave coverage in the northern Atlanta area, specifically serving elementary-aged students. This position requires on-site work with one assignment located either in Acworth or Woodstock. The assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the current school year, concluding on May 22, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students within the school setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Department of Education certification.
- Current Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
- Positions require full-time availability, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
- Candidates with zero to over ten years of experience are encouraged to apply; compensation will be commensurate with experience.
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) are not eligible for this role.
