Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- GaPSC SLP Educator Certification required
- Experience working with elementary school-aged students preferred
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Compassionate approach and commitment to fostering student confidence and success
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver direct therapy to students within the elementary caseload
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with each student’s needs
- Keep accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and progress monitoring
- Participate in school-based teams to support student access to curriculum and learning
- Provide a caring, supportive presence for students throughout the duration of the contract
