A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the northern Atlanta area for maternity leave coverage through the end of the school year (May 22, 2026). This role requires onsite work within one of two elementary school locations, serving students in early education settings.
Location: Alpharetta, GA (with assignments in nearby Acworth or Woodstock)
Position Type: Contract, Full-Time (37.5 hours/week), Monday through Friday
Duration: Immediate start – ends at the close of the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Department of Education Certification
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children
- This position is for certified SLPs only; SLPA applicants will not be considered
- Available for onsite work within the designated northern Atlanta school locations
Additional Information:
- This role involves maternity leave coverage positions for two SLPs
- Part-time candidates will not be considered
- The caseload will be elementary-aged students at one assigned school
