Pre K Pre-School School Speech Language Pathologist - Jacksonville, North Carolina
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position serving Pre-K through 5th grade students at an elementary school in Jacksonville, NC. This role starts as soon as possible and includes a caseload of approximately 50 children. Candidates who are Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply; however, the position will not support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or voco therapists.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure and credentials appropriate for school settings
- Experience working with children in Pre-K through elementary grades
- Comfortable managing a caseload of about 50 students
- Recent graduates or SLP Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome
- Skilled in assessment, individualized therapy planning, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals

Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology assessments, screenings, and therapy services for students from Pre-K to 5th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff regarding student progress and goals
- Participate in team meetings and school-related professional development
