We are actively seeking a full-time, onsite SLP to join our team for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year in the Cambridge, Ohio area. This is an exceptional opportunity to focus exclusively on a preschool-only caseload, playing a vital role in the foundational communication and social-emotional development of our early childhood students.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive speech and language services exclusively to preschool-aged children.

Conduct thorough evaluations, interpret assessment results, and write compliant reports for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique developmental needs of preschoolers.

Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans addressing a wide range of communication disorders common in early childhood (e.g., early language delays, articulation/phonological disorders, social communication deficits, fluency, voice).

Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in individual, small group, and classroom-based settings within preschool classrooms.

Collaborate effectively with preschool teachers, parents, early intervention specialists, and other school personnel to integrate communication goals into daily routines and play-based learning.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and IEPs, adhering to district and state guidelines.

Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations for early childhood students.

Adapt therapy activities and materials to suit the developmental stages and diverse needs of preschool children.
Qualifications

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of Ohio is REQUIRED.

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFYs) with a passion for early childhood will be considered and may be provided with supervision.

Prior experience working with preschool or other early childhood student populations in a school or clinic setting is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of early childhood development, the IEP process, special education law, and school-based service delivery models for young children.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

A genuine commitment to fostering early communication skills and empowering young students to reach their full potential.
