Travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Cambridge, MD
An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist providing services in school settings, with options for travel assignments in Cambridge, MD. This role involves supporting students across multiple elementary and middle schools with speech and language needs, utilizing both traditional in-person sessions and teletherapy methods.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both in-person and through teletherapy platforms
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and adapt services as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school-based settings is preferred
- Skilled in delivering teletherapy services
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Immediate openings at Warwick Elementary School and North Dorchester Middle School
- Additional availability beginning April 1st at Choptank Elementary School
- Assignment runs through June 10, 2026
