A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide services in a school setting with opportunities for teletherapy in Huntingtown, MD. This role supports students in multiple elementary and middle schools within the district, working to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders to enhance student communication and academic success.
Locations:
- Warwick Elementary School and North Dorchester Middle School (Available immediately)
- Choptank Elementary School (Available starting April 1st)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in a school environment
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
- Provide teletherapy sessions as needed to support student access
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings preferred
- Ability to deliver effective teletherapy services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Schedule:
- Full-time contract position, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract end date: June 10, 2026
