Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Cambridge, MA
A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential coverage for a medical leave within an elementary school setting. This contract role serves a diverse group of students in kindergarten through 4th grade, supporting around 50 students on your caseload. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification required
- CCC or CFY credentials accepted
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to work with elementary-aged children (K-4)
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Conduct assessments and evaluate student needs as required
- Document services provided and maintain accurate records
- Participate in staff meetings, IEP reviews, and team planning as needed
Position Details:
- Contract role for medical leave coverage
- Immediate start date, continuing through the end of November
- 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Serve approximately 50 students in kindergarten through 4th grade
- Located near Cambridge, MA
