Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Cambridge, MA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available in Cambridge, MA, with an elementary school caseload focused on delivering comprehensive speech and language services. This contract position offers an opportunity to work onsite, engaging directly with students, teachers, and parents to support children's communication development.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, writing detailed reports, delivering speech therapy services, and participating in consultations. You will be involved in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, goal writing, and closely collaborating with educational staff and families to ensure effective intervention plans.
This position is open to certified SLPs with either Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status. Candidates must hold active SLP licensure in Massachusetts and have previous school-based experience. Please note that Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for this role. Onsite presence is required due to the nature of the caseload. A CORI background check and fingerprinting are mandatory for employment consideration.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license
- CCC or CF status required
- Proven school-based experience working with elementary caseloads
- Strong skills in assessments, report writing, IEP development, and communication with parents and teachers
- Ability to work onsite full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (minimum 20 hours/week)
