Speech Language Pathologist in Worcester, MA
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide onsite compensatory services in a K-12 school setting. Location: Worcester, MA
Duration: Full Semester Contract
Assignment Hours: 8 hours total (1 hour per week across 8 weeks)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver compensatory speech-language services to a former student as mandated by an ongoing state complaint resolution
- Collaborate with school administration and special education teams to ensure appropriate service delivery despite student’s current enrollment in another district
- Document progress and maintain compliance with service requirements and state guidelines
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of a student no longer officially enrolled in the current district
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC certification
- Experience working within school settings, preferably K-12
- Ability to navigate complex service arrangements, including compensatory service plans
- Strong communication skills and professionalism when addressing sensitive cases involving state complaints and multi-district scenarios
