School-Based SLP | Worcester, Massachusetts
A dynamic opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K-12 students in a full-semester contract based in Worcester, MA. This role involves working full-time or part-time (32.5 hours per week) in a school setting, providing essential speech and language services to students during important leave coverage periods. Two openings are available, each to begin immediately and continue until the respective maternity or medical leave concludes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop detailed reports
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate in consultation meetings, participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, write goals, and maintain documentation
- Maintain open communication with parents, teachers, and school staff to support student progress
- Adhere to onsite service delivery requirements due to caseload demands
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Massachusetts is mandatory
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required
- Prior experience in school-based speech-language pathology is essential
- Ability to pass CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) check and complete fingerprinting for background clearance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to school schedules
- Availability for Zoom interviews as part of the selection process
