A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a leave replacement position in a K-12 school setting located in Cambridge, MA. This contract role will begin in March and continue through the end of the school year, serving students with moderate to severe communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
  • Evaluate, assess, and create individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure optimal communication outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Support students with moderate to severe speech and language challenges in both individual and group settings

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification (SLP - CCC preferred)
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings
  • Ability to manage a moderate to severe caseload effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students of varied abilities
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques and tools relevant to school-age children
