Speech-Language Pathologist in Billerica, MA
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Billerica, MA, supporting a preschool program within a single building. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and working with students who have moderate to severe disabilities.
Key qualifications:

- Ability to manage a caseload that will start lighter and increase throughout the year to approximately 30 students.
Position details:
- Contract duration through 12/23/2025, with a possible extension until 6/16/2026 if no direct hire is found.
- Weekly schedule typically consists of about 6 hours per day, 4 days a week, with the potential for up to 30 hours per week if working 5 days.
- Caseload includes preschool students with moderate to severe disabilities and AAC users.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech-language services tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with program requirements.
- Adapting therapeutic strategies as the caseload and student needs evolve throughout the school year.
