A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available to support an early childhood school’s integrated Pre-K program in Cambridge, MA. This contract role is designed to cover a maternity leave from mid to late January through the end of the school year, providing vital support to young learners in a nurturing and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy services to preschool-aged children within an integrated Pre-K setting.
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's communication needs.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, maintaining clear, timely documentation and communication with families and staff.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive and effective intervention strategies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required.
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in early childhood education settings.
  • Familiarity with speech-language services in schools, including knowledge of IDEA and educational regulations.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
  • Ability to work full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility around a maternity leave schedule.
