A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Calumet City, IL, serving students from Early Childhood through 8th grade. This on-site role requires a licensed professional to provide direct therapy services within a school setting, supporting a diverse caseload with developmental and communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students EC-8th grade
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to monitor progress and ensure effective communication goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on student success
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement or Speech-Language Pathologist licensure from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school environments with children from early childhood to middle school
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and school staff
- Ability to work on-site exclusively; no remote or voice-over services accepted

Schedule:
- Approximately 33.75 hours per week
- Position availability ASAP through June 3, 2026
