A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Calumet City, IL, serving students from Early Childhood through 8th grade. This on-site role requires a licensed professional to provide direct therapy services within a school setting, supporting a diverse caseload with developmental and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students EC-8th grade
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to monitor progress and ensure effective communication goals
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on student success

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement or Speech-Language Pathologist licensure from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in school environments with children from early childhood to middle school
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to work on-site exclusively; no remote or voice-over services accepted

  • Calumet City, Illinois

Schedule:

  • Approximately 33.75 hours per week
  • Position availability ASAP through June 3, 2026
