A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an onsite position in Calumet City, IL, serving students from early childhood through 8th grade in a school setting. This travel role offers the opportunity to work directly within a district committed to supporting diverse communication needs of its student population. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 3, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in grades EC-8.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and assessments.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Language Pathologist endorsement from IDFPR.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience working in school settings, especially with EC-8 populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
  • Ability to commit to an onsite position – no virtual or remote options.
