A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting located in Calistoga, CA. This contract position offers the chance to work with a diverse student population throughout the school year, delivering both in-person and teletherapy support to meet varied communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide teletherapy services as needed to ensure consistent and accessible support.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience delivering direct SLP services in a school environment, preferably with K-12 populations.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and the ability to engage students effectively in a virtual setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of educational laws and regulations pertinent to speech and language services.
Location: Calistoga, CA
Contract Duration: School year (CSY)
