Compensation ranges from $48.27 to $60.03 an hour, depending on your school-based or independent experience, and you’ll be working as a W-2 employee with an established staffing agency.
What You’ll Bring:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP)
- Previous experience working in a school environment, especially with elementary students, is preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Excellent communication abilities with students, parents, and teachers
- Comfort with onsite work and adaptability to varying school settings
Daily Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based interventions
- Work closely with teachers and staff to support student progress and classroom integration
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with caregivers and participate in IEP meetings as necessary
