Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Cedartown, Georgia
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide onsite services within a K-12 school setting in Cedartown, GA. This full-time position offers a contract for the current school year, allowing a skilled professional to work directly with students across all grade levels to support their communication and speech development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to optimize student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Provide direct therapy services while adhering to the highest standards of clinical practice.
Qualifications:
- Valid GA Speech Language Pathologist License.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of SLP best practices including pediatric and school-based service delivery.
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods is a plus, though this position is onsite.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or equivalent experience.
Location: Cedartown, GA (onsite position) Schedule: 35 hours per week during the contracted school year
