Key Qualifications:

- Experience providing speech therapy in school settings, particularly K-12
- Ability to manage and adapt caseloads throughout the school year
- Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate itinerant services effectively
Position Details:
- Location: Dalton, GA area
- Contract duration: January 5, 2026, through May 27, 2026
- Work schedule: 40 hours per week in January; reduced to 20 hours weekly from February to May
- Age group served: Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Caseload: Up to 55 students initially, with a decrease in caseload from February onwards
- Role involves traveling between schools within close proximity, requiring flexibility and efficient time management
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district policies
