Position Overview
Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a small and supportive district in Burnham, IL to bring on a Speech-Language Pathologist for the remainder of the school year. This role spans early childhood through middle school and offers a diverse caseload with steady support from the special education team.
This position is ideal for an SLP who enjoys working across multiple grade levels and wants to collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow providers.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in EC–8th

Conduct assessments, determine eligibility, and contribute to IEP development

Manage progress monitoring, goal writing, and documentation

Consult with teachers and staff to support communication needs in the classroom

Participate in meetings and help guide service planning

Offer both individual and small-group interventions based on student needs
Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Illinois SLP License and Professional Educator License (PEL)

Experience with school-aged students preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
