Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to optimize student progress and outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development as needed
- Provide consultative support and training to teachers and staff regarding language and communication strategies
