Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and passionate Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time remote/on-site positions within school districts in the Burlington, NC area. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are committed to helping students improve their communication skills and thrive in educational settings.
Position Overview:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You will work collaboratively with educators, families, and other support staff to create effective therapy plans and support student achievement.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language needs

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines

Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students' progress

Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
-
Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with district and legal requirements
Requirements:
All applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Valid North Carolina SLP license issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)
-
North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI) license for school-based practice
-
Ability to pass state and federal background checks
-
Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
