We’re searching for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an enthusiastic school team in a full-time, itinerant contract role spanning from ASAP through late May 2027. Your work will reach K-12 learners, helping them develop essential communication skills and reach their academic potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in both elementary and high school settings
- Case manage at least one campus—overseeing evaluations, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Supervise and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as assigned
- Collaborate closely with educational staff and families to encourage student success
- Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with district and state requirements
- Work on-site exclusively (virtual services are not offered for this position)
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Texas (required)
- Experience working with diverse K-12 populations within school settings preferred
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and case management abilities
- Capable of adapting and traveling between assigned campuses as needed
- Completion or verification of TEA fingerprinting before starting—allow up to 10 business days for processing
