This opportunity seeks experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and School SLP licensure to support a dynamic K-12 educational setting in Burbank, IL. The position is a full-time, in-person contract assignment for the 2025-2026 school year, serving students primarily in an Autism program within elementary and middle school grades.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 35-40 students, focusing on individualized needs in collaboration with special education teams
- Delivering evidence-based interventions that support communication development and academic success
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate documentation according to district and state guidelines
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to individualized education plan (IEP) development
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with School SLP endorsement
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but candidates in their Clinical Fellowship (CF) year are considered if mentorship is provided by the agency
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, particularly with students on the autism spectrum
- Ability to work full-time, in person (work hours 8:15 a.m.–3:15 p.m.) within the school setting
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners through compassionate and effective therapeutic techniques
